Marilyn Thomas French is a direct ancestor on my mother's side. Thomas French born Oct 1639, was a Quaker, although he was baptized in S.S. Peter and Paul, Nether Heyford, England on 3 Nov 1639. "His baptism, in childhood, in 1639, in the Protestant Episcopal Church........, is recorded, but when the religious Society of Friends arose he with other members of the family became actively identified therewith, suffering for his faith at different times." Thomas French is an ancestor too, but I can't remember if he was a Quaker, I am thinking not. Samuel Cole is an ancestor but he was not a Quaker.
