Does anyone know if any type of records exist for the county Almshouse? I am interested in two different references, one is the 1870 census for Pemberton Township, which lists a group of people identified as 'inmates of the almshouse'. The other is an 1885 death certificate that lists the person's residence as the Almshouse in Mansfield. Are these two references to the same place? Any information will be appreciated.
