    3. True, however this may be a slightly unusual situation. Wm Dockwra was a wealthy and renown East Jersey proprietor. He was known to have taken an active part in promoting immigration to the province through "contributions" of money, and by sending over settlers on his own account. In addition, I find it unusual for an East Jersey proprietor to send settlers to West Jersey. With all the "wheeling and dealing" that was happening at that time, I'm wondering if the actual account records might indicate something different since Henry didn't work on land owned by Wm Dockwra, and since the Warranty Deed Henry finally received indicates the property was previously owned by a Hugh Hutchin.
