Hello..... I am posting as a NON subscriber to the WILKERSON list . I have a "studio"picture of a young man taken by "J.S.Walker,Photographer, Mill Street, Mount Holly N.J." My cousin who was closest to our Grand mom [ b. 1867 Shamong Twp Burlington Cty-] has written on the back. " Billy Wilkerson , came to Florida with M J [ Wills] and Malcolm [McMullen} " They were our great grandparents. Malcolm McMullen was b. 1840 [GA} & Martha Jane Wills abt 1846 in Burlington NJ, and they came to Florida, --Pinellas or Hillsborough county ---in about 1879 with their 3 daughters. I believe that this young man "Billy" would be about the same age [b. 1840s ] as Malcolm and is probably late 20s-early 30s in the picture. I know nothing else about him. Does anyone on these lists know about this Billy Wilkerson ? I would be pleased to send this "playing card size" picture to a descendant. of his.
