Does anyone have information about the SUTTON and LOPER families of Burlington, NJ? My family lore has that one John SUTTON married a Stand LOPER in NJ circa 1798. Did John and Stand relocate to PA or was it their son John and Anna GARRISON LOPER and their son John who made the trip? This would mean possibly three John's made the move or John and Stand LOPER SUTTON are buried in NJ. There is some basis to the LOPER connection. John and Anna SUTTON named a son Benjamin LOPER SUTTON. I also have found evidence that there was a LOPER family living near the Thomas Coates SUTTON family. These are my third, fourth and fifth grandparents. The PA LOPER family also married into my COULTER family, in PA, in 1888 I will be in Geneva, PA, Monday and Tuesday Sept 29 and 30 looking for graves. Charles Coulter Port Charlotte, FL
