    3. Hi,      I didn't see the marriage your looking for in either Burlington County Marriages nor in Gloucester County Marriages, both by H. Stanley Craig.  You mentioned Washington Twp. and I believe that is in Gloucester County but I'm not sure.  I went to the U.S. Gen Web for New Jersey but couldn't find maps for either Camden or Gloucester Counties.  I believe that Washington Twp. was a hugh township that was carved up over time.  I think all that remains is in Gloucester County.  There is a H. Stanley Craig book for Camden County, maybe someone on the list can check that for you just to be certain.  Camden County was formed from Gloucester County in 1844.                                                                                                                   Jim ----- Original Message ---- From: Stephanie Cecil <stephaxi@mindspring.com> To: njburlin@rootsweb.com Sent: Friday, June 27, 2008 7:22:37 PM Subject: [NJBurlin] Burlington County Marriages.? ": kimelisabeth1" Hello. I just picked up on the fact  that there is a book which lists Burlington County Marriages in the 1800s......  [ Been travelling a lot.] I would like to know if my great grandparents were listed therein. They were married [I believe] in Washington township, near the bride's home in about 1865 or 1866. Bride was Martha Jane Wills, about 20-21, d/o George and Mary Delette Wills , InnKeepers. of Crowleytown, Burlington County NJ. Groom was Malcolm McMullen , about 25,  s/o James and Rebecca Fain McMullen of Brooks County ,south Georgia, He was confederate veteran -- a  p. o. w. recently  released from Fort Delaware.  He travelled across South New Jersey to the Ocean "to rid himself of the prison lice". The Wills family's Buttonwood Hill Tavern must have been on his way there or back. Their first child, my "Nana", Mary Rebecca McMullen, was born  Sept 4 1867 in Shamong Township NJ. [ she lived til 1960] I would love to see a printed record of their marriage if such  does exist. Thanks so much.
