    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. I know that in this period all the certificates did not make it to the state and the problem seems more likely to occur when the Catholic Church is involved. It could very well be there under a mis-spelled name. If you know the married names of any or all of the three daughters and their approximate year of death, I will try to look them up on my next visit to the Archives. NJ Death records usually have the names of both parents. I'm in the process of filling in details for the extended family of one of my branches so I expect to get there every few weeks for the next two months. Burlington is a current area of interest for me so I don't mine doing things that might give me some education. I did look at the will of John Boylen filed in 1907. It doesn't really say anything more then the absract in the newspaper except that he leaves the balance to "James Boylen and his heirs". I couldn't tell exactly when it was written, and I didn't see anything to clarify that this James was already dead -- so it's unclear if this is a connection or not. As for the Breen connection. I know almost all the descendants of my Great Grandfather Henry Breen, and I and my son are the only living Robert's. However, it is possible that Henry had other family in the New York area. Here's a short summary. Henry Breen was born about 1859, most likely in Cavan Ireland. His parents were John Breen and Elizabeth Kithcard. In 1870 he married Mary Jane Nixon in Manhattan. I think he arrived around 1866-67 but I don't have definite information and it could have been earlier. I have no information about other family being here aleady or whether he might have traveled with anyone. However the family story was also that Mary Jane Nixon was also here by herself and that has proven to be false -- she had two brothers.
