Theodore- I don't think so. I found this in the mailing list archives of Quaker-Roots: http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/read/quaker-roots/2003-04/1049832283 Tom Hamm is about as knowledgeable as anyone on early Quaker records -- and he never saw a notation of a Quaker marrying an Indian at an early date in the records. I'd add--neither have I for what it is worth. The notation about Alice being an Indian was added by someone LATER--possibly someone who had no firsthand knowledge. So it is questionable. Again thank you until we talk again, peace be with you and yours. Theodore R. VonBartheld - in Alabama **************Get fantasy football with free live scoring.
