I've "rescued" two old photographs which I believe both belong to the STOWELL Family of Pennsylvania. The first is a photograph of Clara STOWELL which was taken at the Thos. Baker Studio in Burlington, New Jersey. The photograph was taken in the 1870's or 1880's with Clara appearing to be in her teens at the time. The second photograph is unidentified, however, the woman in this second photograph looks very similar to Clara. The second photograph is of an older woman, probably in her 50's, taken at the H. J. Thein Studio in Newark, NJ sometime in the 1880's. STOWELL, son, age 13, born NJ, attends School Nathaniel L. STOWELL, Father, a widower, age 87, born NH, a Retired Gardner, parents born NJ/England Joseph BLAIR, other, age 68, born NJ, a Tailor, parents born NJ Joseph HAYS, other, age 56, born NJ, a Policeman I'm hoping to locate someone from this family so that the photographs can be returned to their rightful place, with family.
