Gale (b. Sept. 2, 1810-d.1881) and Frances A.E. Downs (b.1815-d.1902), IS THE SAME PERSON KNOWN as Sarah Gale, wife of Captain Jesse A. Sooy? Both Sarah Gale and her husband Capt. Jesse A. Sooy are buried in Miller Cemetery in New Gretna, NJ. The tombstone for Sarah Gale reads: "Sarah Gale Sooy, b.Oct. 20, 1841, d. May 6, 1925". The tombstone for Capt. Jesse Sooy reads: "Captain Jesse A. Sooy, b. Feb. 15, 1842, d. Jan. 25, 1904". William Clifton Gale was a farmer who resided in Wading River, NJ. Both William C. Gale and his wife, Frances A. E.
