Hi Folks,      I've updated the Stokes Web page for Descendants of Thomas Stokes of Burlington County, N.J., its at  http://home.comcast.net/~jameslstokes/      The page includes new information on Thomas' ancestry going back to his great grand father, George Stokes of Wycomb, Leicestershire, who married Margaret Langley in 1561.  It also includes Thomas' arrest record from British History On-line, when he was arrested in 1664 for violating the Conventicle Act of 1664.  Also included is the complete "Genealogy of the Stokes Family", published in 1906 by Richard Haines that includes many American descendents.  The family began in Burlington County but spread into other South Jersey families and into Philadelphia and Pennsylvaina.                                                                                                                Jim
