    3. THE FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH of Millburn, Essex Co., NJ, was organized in 1858...The pastors of this church have been in succession, Revs. H.C. Townley, Kelsey Walling, J.D. Merrill, Adam Chambers, A.B. Woodworth, .... First Baptist Church, Green-Point (Brooklyn, NY) - In October, 1856, Rev. Robert Carr was invited to supply the pulpit, which be did until September, 1857, when a call was extended to Rev. Kelsey Walling, who accepted, and was ordained in October. The membership of the church at this time was forty-five. Mr. Walling's pastorate, a successful one, continued until September, 1859, when he resigned. Perhaps you should find a list of Baptist churches in Burlington. -- Malcolm Schalick Sharp http://sharp.rootsweb.com/ -- ----- Original Message ----- From: "Edmund Austin" <eaustin01@home.com> To: <NJBURLIN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, April 17, 2001 3:46 PM Subject: [NJBurlin] Place of Marriage > Joel G.
