    3. I received this message just now and wondered if any of you could help this person out: Hi ! My name is Bonnie Egbert. I'm from Idaho. In doing some family research, I found your name at the bottom of a page which listed cemeteries in Burlington County. I noticed that there is, or used to be, a cemetery in Maple Shade. We are looking for an Andrews Family Bible which we are told was donated to the Maple Shade Historical Society. We've been unable to find any information on this Society, so are assuming it is no longer in existence. We're trying to confirm information from that Bible. Also, we are finding relatives named WRIGHT, and a genealogist cousin told us that Peter Wright was the first one of that family to come here from England, in the 1600's. So maybe I'm even YOUR relative ! (Or your husband's.) If you have any information about the Maple Shade Historical Society, or the Andrews Family Bible, or have any ideas of any place I can search, please let me know. Thank you for your help ! Bonnie H. 3. Hi Bonnie, I can't help you with the Maple Shade Historical Society but there is a genealogy on the Andrews family, its the Andrews, Stokes, Clapp Genealogy by man named Andrews who lived in Fla. and I believe is dead. I'll see if I can get a full citation, I can't find my photocopies right now. As for Peter Wright, he was one of three brothers who came from England to New England in the 1630s, he and his brothers Anthony and Nicholas later moved to Sandwich, Mass., where they came under Quaker influence. In 1653 they moved to Oyster Bay, Long Island, New York. Peter's wife was Alice but her maiden name is unknown. He had a large family but for our purposes he had a son Job, and daughters Lydia, Hannah and Mary (born 1642). Lydia married Isaac Horner and moved to Burlington County, New Jersey. Hannah died unmarried but Mary married Samuel Andrews, by Quaker cermony on 30th of Oct. 1663 (Old style). The Andrews also moved to Burlington County. According to Milton Rubincam, in "Lydia Wright and her Sisters", Samuel Andrews and Mary Wright had Mordecai, Peter the elder (died young), Peter the younger, Hester, Hannah, Edward (married Sarah Ong), Jacob and Mary. Samuel Andrews died in 1693 and Mary died about 1700. According to the Rubincam article all three sisters were involved in promoting Quakerism. Mary went to Boston to protest the execution of Mary Dyer who was killed for Quaker activities there. Mary was tried and banished from New England. My connection is because Thomas Stokes married Deliverance, the daughter of Lydia Wright and Isaac Horner. When Deliverance died he married her first cousin, Rachel Wright, daughter of Job Wright and Rachel Townsend.
