    3. This will is that of Jacob LAMB, son of Jacob, the immigrant, and his wife, Ann. This Jacob married first Sarah HAINES, by whom he had daughters Ann and Margaret. He married second, Lydia STOKES Haines (Her first husband was Samuel HAINES.) Jacob and Lydia had children, Sarah and Jacob. Note the pine chest mentioned in this will. Interesting how little items can help one determine who is whom. (Pine chest was mentioned in will of Ann LAMB, Jacob's mother.) Will of Jacob LAMB of Evesham, Burlington County, NJ. Burlington County Wills ##7091C-7096C and 8729C-8734C. B. 10, pg. 335; B. 15, p. 14. W. 1761. Inv. 1761. Acct. 1770.[Donna note: These references may be used if you wish to obtain copy from the NJ State Archives.] 1st- I recommend my soul to God that gave it, etc. 2nd- To my wife, Lydia, various bequests including 30 bushels of rye that were at EAYRES mill, while my widow. 3rd- To my daughter, Margaret ANTRAM [Donna note: Margaret married first Thomas ANTRAM Jr. and second, Howell DAVIS.], lot of land lying, adjoining on the east side of Jacob TRICKETTS/TRUCKETTS/PRICKETTS [I suspect the latter.] land on the south side of Mill Street in Mt. Holly which I purchased of Mary WEST. 4th - To my 3 daughters, Ann, wife of Abraham LEEDS, Margaret ANTRAM and Sarah LAMB - all that piece of cedar swamp lying on Catflow Creek below Revel ELTON's swamp equally divided, allowing William DAVIS to get rails according to his lease. 5th- To my son Jacob LAMB, a minor, remainder of estate when he is 21. 6th- I recommend to my Executors that my children Sarah and Jacob are to be carefully instructed in needful tolerance, literature, liberance?, etc. 7th - To my son, Jacob LAMB, a pine chest which his grandfather made in 1696. 8th- I appoint my brother, Joseph LAMB and my friend, Joseph BALLINGER, Executors of this will. 22 March 1761 Jacob LAMB, sign and seal Witnesses: Margaret HAINES, Isaac EVENS, Thos.
