This is the will of Lydia LAMB, wife of Jacob LAMB (son of Jacob and Ann the progenitors). Lydia was the dau of Thomas and Rachel STOKES, and first the wife of Samuel HAINES. She married second, Jacob LAMB, whose first wife was Sarah HAINES. If I understand correctly, Sarah was a sister to Samuel HAINES. This is my abstract and it is included because Lydia lived for a very long time in Burlington County, before this will was written. Lydia LAMB of Waterford Twp., Gloucester County. A question and a possible clarification... I have Lydia Stokes as the daughter of Thoams Stokes by his first wife Deliverance Horner, rather than his seond wife Rachel Wright... but I don't have a birthdate for her.. so I am willing to change... Can anyone help? Secondly, do I have this right? Lydia had two husbands - Samuel Haines and Jacob Lamb. By each husband she had a son Jacob By each husband she had a daughter Sarah. both of her son's Jacob had a daughter Lydia? Thanks...
