Hello, I would be grateful for information on any of the following people--thank you for your help. Two daughters are related to COOMBS, SMITH , and SHUMARD through marriage. Joseph FENIMORE born about 1799 married Elizabeth CATHCART born about 1812-- Known Children: George FENIMORE born about 1834 Mary FENIMORE born about 1836 Elizabeth FENIMORE born about 1837 Martha FENIMORE born 1841-43 Jason FENIMORE born about 1848 Thomasine FENIMORE born February 1850 Thomasine married Godfrey COOMBS and died in Burlington Twp. in 1939. Martha married Unknown SMITH and died in Burlington in 1912. The informant on Martha's death certificate was Mrs. Joseph D. SHUMARD 208 Barclay St, Burlington. Thank you. Kathy Karn

Kathy, Martha FENIMORE born 9 September 1843 died 28 November 1912 married Emerson M. SMITH in the Methodist church, Burlington, NJ. Emerson, born 1840 died 27 January 1926 was the son of Isaac T. and Mary Ann (GASKILL) SMITH. Emma C. SMITH, born aft August 1870 died 20 October 1958 was their second daughter, third child of eight. Emma married Joseph D. SHUMARD and so is the informant on her mother's death certificate.
