Where could I find records of a Justice of the Peace? My grandfather Joseph Wallace Johnston was a Justice of the Peace in Moorestown, and Maple Shade NJ. According to my mother's birth certificate he went by Wallace as first name. Possibly due to his Aunt Macey Wallace (maybe his favorite Aunt) who was born in Ireland. I believe he was also in the insurance business. I have never seen a picture of him as he died before my mom and dad were married. I would like to know also if there are pictures of Justice of the Peace in NJ.? He died in MoorestownNJ on March 19,1938. Lived in Moorestown 10 years before his death during which time he was in Insurance and Justice of the Peace. Any help greatly appreciated.
