    3. I am coming to NJ this fall. I need to find a marriage license/andor certificate for a marriage that occured in Burlington County between 1900 and 1905. Do I go to the State Archives in Trenton or County Archives in Burlington? Thanks for the help. The Burlington County Library site has been a wonderful resource for me. It was from there that I came across Coopertown Cemetery. I was hoping to get a more specific birthdate for Mary and was wondering if there are other family members buried there. If you find anything at the Historical Society I would greatly appreciate it. I haven't been there yet. I visit NJ once or twice a year to visit family and usually try to steal away some time for research but it is not always possible. I have been able to do a lot of work via the internet and by mail and so try to pursue those avenues as much as possible. Author: RobertBurnsOB Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.newjersey.counties.burlington/1271.3.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I descend from a Richard Watson born in 1787 in Abbeville County, South Carolina who died in 1824 in the same place who maried Lavina Brooks. Their daughter Mary Elizabeth Watson died on 12/1/1835 and married Zebulon Rudulph, Jr. of Camden, S.C.; they were the parents of my great-great grandfather John Barratt Rudulph who was born 10/10/1835 of Alabama. That's about all I know of my Watson lineage; but there are Quakers in several maternal lines up on the Rudulph line. The Rudulphs originally settled in Wilmington, DE and that side of the family soon became most associated with Cecil County, MD. I got it from Gloucester Co. Historical Society on a visit a few years ago. Paula Canes80@aol.com wrote: No. Not my side. My descendants are from Edward N. Allen. My wall is 1803 ( Edwards birth in Vincentown). From what I can gather, there are 2 distinct Allen families in Burlington Co. in the early to mid 1800's. I have often wondered if they are related further back, but to date I can find nothing to connect them. Do you have any info going back that far?
