Would anyone know who maintains the records at the Rancocas Quaker Cemetery? Is this meeting still active? Is it best to access it from 295 or NJ Turnpike? I would be coming from Delaware. Also Stacy in 1860 census appears to be 44 rather than 66 which puts his DOB at 1818. If this is the same as the "Rancocas Quaker Burial Ground", I believe that it is just on the Willingboro side of the little Centreton Bridge across the Rancocas Creek. My 3xgreat grandaunt Acsah (Gilbert) Baldwin was buried there in 1908. http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&ll=40.001764,-74.870571&spn=0.022322,0.036006&z=15 Mike -----Original Message----- >From: James Stokes <james_l_stokes@yahoo.com> >Sent: May 23, 2008 3:20 PM >To: njburlin@rootsweb.com >Subject: Re: [NJBurlin] Rancocas "Hicksite Cemetery" > >Hi, > Yes, Rancocas was a Hicksite meeting. I've "rescued" an old photograph identified as Linda ARINSON (guessing it should be correctly spelled AARONSON) which was taken at the Fritz Studio in Lambertville, New Jersey. In addition to her name, someone has also written "Cousin L. E. A." and "cousin of Florence SEGAR" on the back of the photograph. I believe that the photograph was probably taken in the 1880's with Linda appearing to be in her teens at the time it was taken. Based on limited research I was able to locate the following census information regarding Linda and her family: 1870 census of Mansfield Township, NJ: Henry AARONSON, age 31, a Farmer, born NJ Eleanor M. AARONSON, age 38, Keeping House, born NJ Linda AARONSON, age 5, born NJ Samuel AARONSON, age 2, born NJ 1880 census of Mansfield, NJ: Henry B.
