    3. Hello, I have Sutton in my family. My problem is I don't have much info just mostly names. I start with a Charles Sutton born January 27, 1900 I have his children names and his wife who was Mary May Holloway Dawn ----- Original Message ----- From: Charles Coulter2<mailto:charlana2@embarqmail.com> To: sutton-request@rootsweb.com<mailto:sutton-request@rootsweb.com> ; Sutton<mailto:sutton@rootsweb.com> ; Burlington NJ<mailto:njburlin@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, September 25, 2008 8:34 AM Subject: [NJBurlin] New Jersey/PA Sutton's and Loper's Does anyone have information about the SUTTON and LOPER families of Burlington, NJ? My family lore has that one John SUTTON married a Stand LOPER in NJ circa 1798. Did John and Stand relocate to PA or was it their son John and Anna GARRISON LOPER and their son John who made the trip? This would mean possibly three John's made the move or John and Stand LOPER SUTTON are buried in NJ. There is some basis to the LOPER connection. John and Anna SUTTON named a son Benjamin LOPER SUTTON. I also have found evidence that there was a LOPER family living near the Thomas Coates SUTTON family. These are my third, fourth and fifth grandparents. The PA LOPER family also married into my COULTER family, in PA, in 1888 I will be in Geneva, PA, Monday and Tuesday Sept 29 and 30 looking for graves. 2. Kelly
    3. I have been researching my grandmother Sarah Ann Sprouel Born 1794 for years for some information about just her. There has been some research hired, but nothing has been found about her other then her marriage in 1811 in Freehold twp., Monmouth Co. With the boundaries of the two counties and Freehold almost in both, it has been brought to my attention that I should be researching in the Matawan area because of the surname being prevalent there! The only tidbit of information of I have to go on about her father was that he was a "gunner" in the Revolutionary war. This is not for fact, just a family tale that has been passed down. I would greatly appreciate any help or advice anyone could give me. Thanks for your time Kelly Iowa

He is a farm laborer in the Abraham Dutcher household. He, and the Dutchers, were all born in NJ. See Series M653, Roll 705, p. 14. New Egypt, just at the western edge of Ocean County, is about seven miles from Wrightstown in Burlington County. Charles Asson was not with the Abraham Dutcher household in 1850, but they had a whole different set of farm workers that year. A Michael Asay, age 30-40 in 1830, lived in New Hanover Twp., Burlington County. There is a James Asay d. Feb. 15, 1856, aged 56 yrs, also buried at Wrightstown Methodist. Can Charles be his brother?
