    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: pbird24 Surnames: Field, Bird, Bennett, Warren Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.newjersey.counties.burlington/2950/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Seeking information on Sarah Bird (listed in her obituary of 1862 as "widow of the late Jesse Bird"). In the 1850 and 1860 censuses she is listed as living with Isaac Field and wife Beulah (Warren). Her obituary states "In Bordentown, on 1/24/1862, at the Isaac Field's residence, Sarah Bird, age near 87 years, widow of the late Jesse Bird." I am curious to know what her relationship was with the Field family. Assuming it must have been close in order for her to have lived with them for at least 12 years. Jesse Bird is assumed to have been born around 1770, and if my research is correct, he was the father of James Bird Sr. who married Letitia Bennett in 1826. James is my great, great, great grandfather. Any help is much appreciate. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
