    3. Try the Historical Maps of NJ at Rutgers. http://mapmaker.rutgers.edu/MAPS.html You might have to overlay modern or more recent maps to find specific place-names. An easy way to do that is to match up the rivers. This is NJ in 1795: http://mapmaker.rutgers.edu/HISTORICALMAPS/NJ_1795/index.htm NJ in 1826, counties in colors: http://mapmaker.rutgers.edu/NJ_1826.jpg 1856 has more place-names http://mapmaker.rutgers.edu/NJ_1856.jpg Scroll down on the main page for the counties. Maps vary by county, but hopefully you can find what you need. They had two sons may have been more children I don't know for sure but I do know there were two sons Isrial Pomroy born 1792 born Burlington New Jersey Isrial married a Mary ? Valentine born approx 1806 in Burlington New Jersey he married a Rachel ? Valentine is listed in the 1850, 1860 census in Philadelphia, he died in Philadelphia Dec 30, 1869 Rachel his wife died April 17,1865 in Philadelphia - she was born in Chester Co. PA I have no idea where they married assuming Philadelphia Does any one have any information on William Pomroy & his wife Sarah in the Burlington Co New Jersey area for the above time frame?     2. She died 1 July 2007 (and was born 12 March 1900). I'm pretty sure the Courier had an obituary for her and I'd think the Burlington County Times would have run one also.     2. Yes...I believe all of these BURRs are descendants of the same Henry and Elizabeth BURR who are also my ancestors. Henry BURR owned Peachfield Plantation in Burlington County.
