    2. Harlan Cleaver
    3. Prior to my computer break down I entered a query on a news article in the "Burlington Gazette of 5/15/1842" listing the marriage of Joseph E Risley and Rachel Ann Lippencott. Someone on this list replied and forwarded a copy of the "New Jersey Mirror" of May26, 1842 Listing the marriage and also asked How I tied into the Lippencotts. Thank you for the article and sorry I was so late in getting back to you. Rachel Ann Lippencott was my 2g grandmother. If the party that sent me the article, would please contact me. Harlan

    1. Re: [NJBurlin] Chairville, NJ and it's mills
    2. Chairville, or what is left of it (a name on a map). Was at one time part of Medford Township, before Southampton broke away. I have birth records from Medford Twp in the 1850's that has the place of birth as Chairville, Medford Township. Originally Peacock's Mill was there as early as 1790, then came the Chair Factory. Both in operation as late as 1860, but, by 1876, just the sawmill remained, until sometime in the 1890's Chairville is located on the east boundary of Medford Township, was founded by John N Prickitt and was destroyed by fire April 17, 1874. On a map, the road, Chairville is in Medford, The name on a map is in Southampton, the river where the mills were is on the border, guess you can decide for yourself. As far as I know, Southampton Township was never called Chairville. Just a few things I thought I'd add to help out >http://www.medfordnj.com/history/history.html > >Southampton Twp was previously named Chairville. This site has the mills >that were in this town owned by many of the familiar family names of >Burlington Co besides other historical info. > >Bill Abrams > Diane DeMore Burlington County Website Co-ordinator -------------------

    1. [NJBurlin] List Owner, Please
    2. It has come to my attention that I am not getting all the postings to the list. Case in point was the Bordentown census just posted by MaisieAnn...I copied every page that was posted to the list and am missing about six postings. I've often been puzzled because I see answers to queries and I have not seen the query, but have always assumed that my fast delete finger was to blame. Now I am certain that I am missing posts. Do you have any idea how I can rectify this situation? Thanks for your help, Georgia Whitson

    2. Vincent E. Summers
    3. The name LARZELERE is known in a number of counties in PA and in NJ. Bucks and Philadelphia and Montgomery seem to have their LARZELEREs. Burlington and Camden in NJ, are known to have theirs. I have mine, and have not a *clue* who her parents were, or where they were from... I am hoping you will! I have tried many things. Can you see: Mary Emma Larzelere DeROUSSE m. 1894 Philadelphia Oswald Jackson DeROUSSE. There is a smidgen on the web about her, in the form of Mrs. O. J. DeROUSSE, during the time period around WWI, at: http://www.ukans.edu/~libsite/wwi-www/Clarke/Clarke26.htm I am really, really hoping you can help me figure out this mystery. Thanks, Vince (tired!) 3. Deborah, I did not find Matthew Moody in the 1905 Census for Fieldsboro but I did find him in Beverly on Walton Avenue in this census. Matthew C. Moody b. April 1880 age 25 he and both parents born in Pa. Mary S. Moody b. Nov. 1880 age 24, she born in Pa. Father in England and Mother in Pa. Gertrude M. Moody b. April 1902, age 3 born in NJ both Parents in Pa. No other family in household. The state archives should have the above birth if indeed she was born in NJ. Should also have a birth record for John born in Beverly. Kkathy Kathy & Joy wrote: > Deborah, There is a 1905 Census . Fieldsboro is between Roebling and > Bordentown. 3. Deborah, There is a 1905 Census . Fieldsboro is between Roebling and Bordentown. A very small waterfront community along the Delaware River. I am going to the Library today I will see if I can find them in 1905. 3. Hello List, I would appreciate any information about Fieldsboro. What was the town like in 1900-1910? How can I go about finding this family, which was in Philadelphia for 1900 and 1910 censuses, but spent time in New Jersey in-between? Was there a 1905 New Jersey state census? Do I have any chance of finding a City Directory covering this area and time frame? Matthew C. Moody b.1880 PA wife Mary (Connor/Conner) Moody b. 1856 PA Thomas James Moody b. 30 Oct. 1903, Fieldsbro/Fieldsboro, Burlington, NJ. d.24 Oct. 1908 John W, Moody b.23 Aug. 1905, Beverly, Burlington County, NJ d.10 Nov. 1908 (The death dates are from a family Bible and New Jersey says they have no record, so maybe the family was back in Philadelphia by then.) They were in Philadelphia for the birth of Elizabeth Ann Moody b.8 Jun 1908 PA Thanks to anyone who can help. Deborah
