G'day list,I have just found my great grandmother-Ellen Smith Cramer, her parents were John T.Cramer and Mary Etta Allen Their children were as follows: Hannah Budd Cramer-1878 William Ernest Cramer-1879 John Burkholder Cramer-1881 Alfred G. Cramer-1884 Janette Cramer-1886 Mary Etta Cramer-1889 Ellen Smith Cramer-1891 Erin Cramer 1896 I am very interested in their middle names,as I am thinking they have left me clues to further family members,Ellen married a Edward Crane and settled in Collingswood NJ,some of her siblings were born in Camden County and Burlington County,I believe William Ernest once had a dairy farm in Medford area-Ernest Dairies??Any help with this family would very much be appreciated,I am just starting this line and it is already looking confusing. I am sorry if this post has been long, would love to find out about anyone related to any of theses people Ellen
Hi, I am looking for Constance Jobes. She was in at least two foster homes (could she have been indentured?) and was finally adopted. She was born 10/7/1894 as far as she knew. She knew nothing about her parents or birth. Knew nothing about siblings. Don't even know if Jobes is her birth name or adoptive name, but she thought it was her birth name. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Patti _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp

While we are talking about orphans, etc. I have asked this question before and thought I'd try again. No one has ever given me an answer ( ie knows what it is.) Thank you Ericka and all who responded to my query. I am searching for the beginnings of my husbands grandmother. She remembered being an orphan who had two different foster families and then was adopted in Burlington and Atlantic Counties. She was born 1894. I never considered indentured, but she may have been. Thanks again. Hello Brad and all Burlington seekers out there (and all the ships at sea.) (who is old enough to remember that?) I have much info on MY Burl Co Bryans who are, I believe, descended from Thomas Bryant (~1660-~1735) and who were plentiful in the Mt Holly Vincentown and Pemberton area. My mother was born a Bryan but by then they were in Trenton. I think this is Thomas Bryant - Elizabeth Scattergood Thomas Bryant - Susannah Hearn Hearn Bryan - Mary Eldridge Samuel Bryan -- Mary Pancoast Shedlock Bryan - Anne Budd William Bryan - Sarah Robbins James Rogers Bryan - Lydia Harker Joseph Harker Bryan - Irene Harker Dobbins (cousins) James Edward Bryan (1906-1997) - Lucile Marvin Elder (my grandparents) James Rogers Bryan (1828-1906) was probably the last to be born in Burl Co. If I remember my Mt Holly history I think that the first Thomas Bryant has a tavern there in town, I believe the one down by the dam at the end of the Main Street. When I passed through there some years ago I think I saw it. I can't tell where yours might be related but I'd be happy to give you a lot more info than the above. Unfortunately, I live in Egypt now and do not have much material at my fingertips. Among other things my History of Mt Holly is somewhere in storage. Still, I'd love to hear from you or from another of the few Bryan researchers. You are undoubtedly a very distant cousin. Doug Baker

Regulations adopted in the New Jersey Register (8:2A-1.1 et seq.) on December 20, 1993 require that certification of death certificates showing the medical cause of death may be issued only to individuals related to the decedent as follows: 1. Executor, Administrator of the estate, or authorized representative of the deceased person; or 2. Surviving spouse or caretaking partner; or 3. If there is no spouse or caretaking partner, then by another authorized member of the immediate family. (Immediate family means direct descendants/ascendants. Cousins, nieces/nephews, aunts/uncles are NOT direct descendants.); or 4. A parent, guardian, or other individual authorized under state law to act in behalf of a minor. Please note that if there is a surviving spouse (not a former spouse), other authorized members of the family must obtain written consent from the surviving spouse before the cause of death can be issued. However, if only the manner of death (e.g., natural, homicide, suicide, accidental) is needed, permission is not required. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Malcolm Schalick Sharp http://sharp.rootsweb.com -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

I apologize for the late notice - my internet connection was down yesterday. The Burlington County Genealogy Club meets the first Friday of every month at the Corson Poley Center on Lawrence Street in Burlington. The library will be open from 6pm to 9pm. The meeting will begin at 7pm. There is usually time after the meeting to do additional research in the library, and plenty of helpful experts on-hand. The November meeting will be this Friday, November 2nd. The speaker will be Mike, our own Kathy Waters, who will speak about Using the Local Newspaper in your Research. If you need more details or directions, please contact Ricki Lucas at <RLucas916@aol.com>. Michael Gilbert <NJBURLIN-ADMIN@RootsWeb.com>
Hello All! This is my first time posting to this list so please forgive any breeches of edict/content. I am posting to elicit any information I can regarding Bryans of Burlington County New Jersey (or anywhere else in the New Jersey and Pennsylvania area.) Specifically I am looking for information on Thomas and Mary Bryan. They lived in Beverly sometime around the 1850's or 1860's. To my knowledge they had at least two son's John E Bryan and Charles H Bryan. Both John and Charles served with the New Jersey Volunteers in the 6th and 23rd regiments respectively. Any information on these Bryans, or any other local Bryans would be most appreciated. Again I apologize if I have used this list inviolate. Brad Bryan Bloomer, WI
