    1. [NJBurlin] Willis Family
    2. I would like to contact any descendants of William Ward WILLIS. Born Poole, Dorset UK, he was a Baptist Minister, married Emily MEACHEN in 1870 and emigrated to the United States in 1872. He died, probably in New Jersey, in 1825. One son was born in England in 1871 and so far as I know, no others. Percy WILLIS appears in the 1920 Census, Burlington County, Beverly Township, ED 60 Sheet 7B. He is given as aged 48, a Rug Manufacturer, married to Alice, 28, born Pennsylvania. Two children Arhur WILLIS, aged 6 and Richard E WILLIS 5, both born New Jersey. I have a photograph of a gentleman in clerical garb, taken in England, who just might be William. Any information gratefully received. Victor Side In Oxfordshire, England

    3. While searching for a Taylor family member who married an Alonzo Asay I also got sent a copy of a death certificate for a George H. Asay. While he lived in Upper Freehold, Monmouth County, his parents were Samuel Asay and Rebecca Hammel who are buried in Jacobstown Methodist Churchyard. If anyone would like the information from the death certificate send me an e-mail.-Cheryl _________________________________________________________________ Send and receive Hotmail on your mobile device: http://mobile.msn.com

    3. hi, I also wondered about the glass cover. I visited the Lower Bank Meth. cemetery and the Green Bank cemetery and there were graves covered in green glass. There was a glass factory close to the area. I wonder if that has something to do with it. Paula __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? 1. Re: [NJBurlin] BHS class of 1916
    2. Frances Stone is my cousin. Her father, Edward Braislin Stone, and my grandfather, James Johnson Goodenough Stone, were brothers. She married Thomas Ryan and had two sons, Eddy and Tom, who are both still living. Frances worked for 35 years as secretary to the warden at the New Jersey State Penitentiary (originally her father, Edward, until his death in 1934). According to Tom Ryan: "My brother Ed and I lived at the Arsenal House, a Revolutionary war building and prison on 2nd St. in Trenton with my mother, Frances Stone Ryan, my grandmother, Lillian M. Venable Stone, my grandfather, Edw. B. Stone, and his father, James Love Stone, a retired upholsterer with the Birch Carriage Factory in Burlington and an active member of the Odd Fellows in whose cemetery in Burlington these wonderful people are buried." Just thought you'd be interested. And thank you for preserving for all of us this important little piece of Burlington history. 8:o) Priscilla Stone Sharp
