    1. [NJBurlin] Burlington County Directories?
    2. Vincent E. Summers
    3. What are the years published for all the Burlington County Directories, please? I never have determined anything but the scantest of details on my great uncle, Wayne Egbert AYRES. He graduated Friends' Central HS in Philadelphia in 1909. He went into the Navy at some point shortly thereafter... perhaps during WWI. He entered the insurance business, worked at some time in Philadelphia, and married an Alice N(something). In 1926, he lived at 637 Linden Avenue. Does anyone have access to any other directories other than 1926? Thanks, Vince Summers

    2. Can someone elaborate a bit more on this subject? I haven't sent for any vitals for a while and am wondering what these new regulations entail. Peggy Rossi

    3. Someone has to have old archive photos from the local newspapers of the day. Correct me if I'm wrong, wasn't there a change of counties for Gloucester city. I don't recollect what the local newspapers were named during the times in question but I think it would be a resource worth looking into. -- Ed Purdy

    1. [NJBurlin] Stratton, Hester and Elizabeth in Evesham MM
    2. To the List, My maternal ggg grandfather Isaiah Hunt married at least 3 times, the first two to women in the Evesham Twp., the last in Gloucester. The first known marriage was to a Hester or Esther Stratton in 1766 outside of her Monthly Meeting, the second one to Elizabeth Stratton, a possible cousin, in 1774 and again outside of her Monthly Meeting. The third marriage was to Eleanor Packer Bee, widow, in 1794 when both parties were residing in Gloucester. All the marriages took place in Philadelphia. I am writing to the List to inquire if anyone is working on the Stratton lines and can tell me who the actual parents of Hester might be and if the two women are cousins. I have read several rolls of microfilm for the Quaker MM and though much is there, nothing as yet shows up for Hester. I would also like to correspond with anyone who might be a descendant of children from either marriage by Isaiah Hunt and the Stratton women and Eleanor Hunt of whom my line descends through her son Samuel B. Hunt. Thank you in advance. Mary Mamalakis Santa Barbara

    1. [NJBurlin] Confusing dates.
    2. A number of times I have found two dates for the same person and there was exactly two months difference. The reason was due to the switch from the Julian calendar. 3. I great resource are The Library of Congress American Memory Online Collections (http://memory.loc.gov). From their homepage click on "Collection Finder" (http://memory.loc.gov/ammem/collections/finder.html) and then under "Original Format" click on "Photos & Prints". In the search box enter your terms (eg., gloucester new jersey) and choose to "match all of these words". I used those terms and got 42 hits -- including items like "Friends Meetinghouse, 120 N. Broad St., WOODBURY, Gloucester County" and "Whitall House, Delaware River & Hessian Ave., NATIONAL PARK, Gloucester County". -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Malcolm Schalick Sharp http://sharp.rootsweb.com -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- ----- Original Message ----- From: "Janet T.
