The Burlington County Genealogy Club will be having a special meeting this Friday, 1st March in the New Jersey Room of the Burlington County Library on Woodlane Road. The meeting will begin at 7pm. Dear List, I am looking for the parents of Rachel Miller (b. about 1825) who married Charles Tonkin (b. about 1827) on 8/1/1848 at the Friends Meeting House in Woodbury, NJ. I've not yet determined if Rachel was born in PA or NJ. I would love to hear from anyone who might be able to shed some light on the identity of Rachel's parents, or her date of death. Thank you. Another brick wall...any help would be appreciated. I am looking for information about Charles Paul FEST m. Aug. 30, 1885 (eloped to NYC) Caroline Haddon DAVIS. I am particularly interested in some documentation or info to do with Charles Paul FEST's birth, hoping to get a lead from that to his parents' origins in Germany/Prussia. We have his date of birth as July 06, 1867 given as Pennsylvania in a census but elsewhere as Ft. Dawes, NJ which seems to be non-existent. His parents were Helen ?? and Robert Fest, both of Germany/Prussia. Thank you, Eileen Durgin-Clinchard -----Original Message----- From: MaisieAnn@aol.com [mailto:MaisieAnn@aol.com] Sent: Friday, February 22, 2002 11:03 AM To: NJBURLIN-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [NJBurlin] Mathias Hughes, NJ, 1831 My brick wall: MATHIAS HUGHES, m. 1831 in Mt. I read that there were Christian Indian settlements in New Jersey, I'm trying to pick up a trail somehow on any of the information available. Anyone on this list have any ideas? Thanks much. Nancy-Jo Nunez California
