Hello Paul, I don't have any info for you just coincidences. I'm looking for my great grandfather Charles Allen who was married to Anamariah (no last name). They were living in Washington Township and had at least one son Charles Who married Amanda Luker. Something happened to the senior Charles Allen and his wife ended up with Job Johnson. I don't know what the Allen/Johnson connection is but there is one there somewhere. ----- Original Message ----- From: "paul palmateer" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, July 05, 2006 12:01 AM Subject: [NJBurlin] Cramer/Johnson > Hi, > > I'm looking for info on: > > Mary Cramer b. 1813 daug. of John and Nancy Cramer. Hello Everyone, I am still working on a plan to move all the data from the old Burlington Genweb website to the current one. In the meantime I added a link pointing to the 'internet archive' version of the old website. The link is on the 'links' area of the current website. http://www.rootsweb.com/~njburlin/links.htm Sincerely, Jeff Lane __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? In the 1850 census for Philadelphia, Joseph THOMPSON, a carpenter, has living with him, George BROADHEAD, 19. Both of these men have strong Burlington County ties. Can anyone help with the Broadhead and/or Thompson families? As always, I would be grateful. Georgia Whitson
From the New Jersey Mirror: "On April 29, 1830, by Richard Eayre, Esq., Mr. John Thompson of Philadelphia to Miss Margaret Woodrow, of Evesham." In the 1850 census for Evesham, I found Thomas Woodrow, 74 and his wife, Sarah, 76. They lived next door to Beulah Lippincott and Nancy Kain. I believe Beulah and Nancy are sisters. Beulah Lippincott died unmarried and had a sister Anna who married William Kaighn. They had a cousin Samuel Lippincott who died unmarried. John and Margaret Woodrow named a son Samuel Lippincott Thompson. Am I seeing co-incidences that aren't there? Can anyone help me identify the Woodrow people or the John Thompson. Margaret's full name was Margaret McAlvain Woodrow. There are also lots of variously spelled McAlvains in Burlington County at the same time. Again...if anyone can help, I would be very grateful. Thanks to all those friends, old and new, who always try to help me with my Fenimore dead ends. Some of us have been corresponding for over ten years online and by snail mail. I wanted to take time to let you all know how much I appreciate your efforts to help me... just before I ask one more time... In my ten year old research notes, on an old legal tablet, I found the following notation... Eliza Fenimore Fish d/o Joshua Eliza Fish m/o Ex-Mayor James D. Fish, widow of Charles... Eliza Fenimore Fish d/o Joshua Fenimore whose homestead... what the heck does that mean? Do any of you know this Fish-Fenimore connection. Was Mayor Fish of Beverly? Why didn't I keep better notes? (that's a rhetorical question)...which Joshua Fenimore? Oh goodness...if you can help, please write off list. Let's not bore everyone with my stupidity. Georgia Whitson
