    3. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/oQB.2ACE/1566 Message Board Post: Zephaniah Adams (b.August 23, 1801 - d.May 8, 1857) married Eleanor Chambers (b. October 16, 1814 - d. February 16, 1901). They had at least two sons (that I know about): Franklin B. Adams (b. April 22, 1834 - d. December 28, 1898) Theophilus H. Adams (b. 1843 - d. 1919). Was Eliza Adams (b. Abt. 1831 - d. June 17, 1852), who is buried in between Zephaniah and Eleanor, the daughter of Zephaniah & Eleanor Adams? Is John W. Adams (b. Abt.1836 - d. December 21, 1897) also a son of Zephaniah & Eleanor Adams? All six Adams that I have mentioned here are all buried at the Lower Bank Cemetery, Old Church Road, Lower Bank, Washington Township, Burlington County, New Jersey. If anyone has any information on this members, I would appreciate your help! Thanks, Joe

He will be speaking on Cemetery Preservation and will demonstrate how to dowse for unmarked graves. Also, the Old Bethel Methodist Church (aka Collins Chapel) will probably be open, which only happens a few times each year. This is obviously of interest to most genealogists, but in particular to those with ancestors who were early settlers buried there, and those in the Jersey Settlement (Collins, Doughty, Higbee, McCollum, Vaughan, Jenkins, Justice, Ely, Simpson, many more) There are Revolutionary War veterans, Civil War veterans, and U.S. Grant's grandparents buried there. This is free, open to the public, and sponsored by the Clermont County Genealogical Society. The schedule is as follows: 1 PM--picnic at the Turkey Ridge Shelter (bring a dish to share, everybody welcome) 2 PM--Program begins at the Cemetery If you do not plan to attend the picnic, but want to attend the program, you should still park at the picnic area and carpool to the cemetery, as parking is limited. Directions to Turkey Ridge are as follows: >From Exit 65 off of I-275 (Beechmont/Amelia), go east 9.6 miles. Turn left onto Bantam Rd. and go two-tenths of a mile. Turn left into the park on Elklick and go 1.8 miles to Turkey Ridge, which will be on your right. For questions, write to [email protected]

    3. • 1841 - Nationwide [especially severe in the south] -- Yellow Fever • 1847 - New Orleans -- Yellow Fever • 1847-8 - Worldwide -- Influenza • 1848-9 - North America -- Cholera I've had this for a long time, the info that is. Back then I didn't write down my sources so I don't know where it came from. But there could have been a local epidemic from unsanitary water or something.
