    3. Hello Lily, Your Bowker, Leach and Wright ancestors are all mentioned in the "HISTORY OF SALEM AND THE IMMEDIATE VICINITY, COLUMBIANA COUNTY, OHIO by GEORGE D. HUNT. Noticed Isiah Bowker death date 6 Mat 1845 age 78 from New Jersey. My fourth great grandfather, John Webb came to Columbiana Co. 1803 with his eleven children from the Fawn Grove, PA/Maryland area (33 mile marker of the Mason/Dixon Line). Son Thomas Webb married Naomi Smith possibly one of the first marriages of the area and their son Samuel Webb possibly the first white child born in Ohio. Lots of Webb and Painter history if of interest and if you need other info I have a copy of the above mentioned book. My connection: John Webb Thomas Webb/ Naomi Smith Samuel Webb/ Jane Stevenson Thomas Mark Webb/ Mary Helen Farrand Frederick Webb/ Flora Maskey Helen Webb/ Leonard Coulter Charles Coulter Port Charlotte, FL > [Original Message] > From: Lilly Martin <[email protected]> > To: <[email protected]> > Date: 9/18/2006 12:37:04 > Subject: [NJBURLIN] Isaiah Bowker, Mary Branin, Joseph Wright, Mahlon Wright,James W. 3. I know William Black was, he is a direct ancestor, also I know Thomas Potts was, but he isn't my ancestor that I know. Thomas French is an ancestor too, but I can't remember if he was a Quaker, I am thinking not. Samuel Cole is an ancestor but he was not a Quaker. 1. Re: [NJBURLIN] divorce records
    2. Hi Bobbie, According to the NJ State Archives, they mainly have the pre 1886 divorce records . These would be found in the Chancery Court records. After 1886, they suggest you contact Superior Court Records Management in Trenton. The information on the records at the NJ State Archives and the contact information for Superior Court Records Management is found on these pages: _NJDARM: Archives Catalog: Genealogical Holdings_ (http://www.state.nj.us/state/darm/links/webcat/genealogy.html) :_NJDARM:New Jersey State Archives Holdings: Chancery Court of New Jersey_ (http://www.state.nj.us/state/darm/links/webcat/queries/sjchance.html) I did scroll down on the Chancery Court page and there are files at the NJ State Archives for Divorce Dockets 1925-1947. Perhaps they have other divorce records toio. I'm sure if you call either of these places they could tell you what you need to know. Good luck! Kathy Karn
