Bill: The only information I have so far for this couple and their children is some information you previously posted at the following site: http://archiver.rootsweb.com/th/read/NYWESTCH/2002-01/1010460583 With this couple having had a child born in Westchester Co., New York, it seems very likely that Bessie is somehow descended from the immigrant Coenraad/Conrad GERLACH/GERLAG/CARLOCK (1660 - ca. 1712) who settled in Fort Lee, now Bergen Co., New Jersey. Conrad's brother Johann Christian GERLACH/GARLOCK/CARLOCK (1669 - 1764) settled in the Schoharie-Mohawk Valley of New York, and his brother David GERLACH/CARLOCK (1674 - 1763), my ancestor, settled in Augusta Co., Virginia. I did a quick census search on Heritage Quest and also did not find any additional information. I continue to work on all branches of the CARLOCK family, so it is possible that I may find a connection in the future. Bill: I don't know if there is a connection, but I do find a listing on the 1920 census, 287 Bristol Street, Borough of Brooklyn, Kings Co., NY, Supervisor's District 3, Enumeration District 1129, Sheet 9B, Dwelling 26, Family 204, for a Bessie GARLOCK, single, age 22, born Russia, sister-in-law living in the household of Jacob and Dora ERENBERG. Bessie is listed as having immigrated in 1909, with a native language of Yiddish.
