Westchester County Genealogical Society (NY) Upcoming Meeting MEETING NOTICE The first meeting of the 25th year of the Westchester County Genealogical Society will be “History of the Catholic Church in NY – 200th Anniversary” a talk by the Msgr. Thomas J. Shelley Ph.D. on Saturday, September 8, 2007 at 10am. Msgr. Shelley is a Catholic priest of Archdiocese of NY and a Professor of Historical Theology at Fordham University. He also teaches Church History at Saint John Neumann Residence. Msgr. Shelley is the author of many books, including Dunwoodie: The History of St. Joseph’s Seminary, The History of the Archdiocese of New York, Greenwich Village Catholics: St. Joseph's Church, 1829-2002, and Empire State Catholics.
