Harry J. conklin, born NY circa 1878/9, and is children born through 1924 all born in NY. I strongly suspect the Ramapo, NY area as I found his future wife (mabel)living in Ramapo on one census with her mother, and sister, when her mother was widowed. Harry and Mabel's kids all born NY according to 1930 census. Lived at corner of wyckoff ave and franklin tpke. Maybe your Louis might have been a brother to Harry? Harry worked for the railroad, so I figure that's how he ended up in franklin tpke. Clarence Conklin, (I know there were quite a few of them- = they had a son Clarence Conklin, born c.1909, who I wanted to find out if that is the Clarence conklin who did some local history on sloatsburg as well. thanks for your time.
