Author: brucedeborahd Surnames: ryder, herring, blaunelt Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.newjersey.counties.bergen/3189/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Am trying to find any info on the connecting person between the herring/blaunelt clan. Rachel A Herring born in 1836- mother was a blaunelt- possibly maria? It appears that a Rachel A and Maria Herring (1804) lived with James Blaunelt in 1850-- possibly maria's brother? No info on Rachel's father. Rachel went on to marry Aaron Ryder but that is yet another story. Any info? Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. 3. I can give you what Ackerman's Genealogy of the Haring Family has, but I have not looked at this family for myself: #6-451 Ralph Haring, born Feb 21, 1810, bp Mar 26, 1810 at Tappan Ref Church, lived in Washington Township in 1887 Married Gertryde (Gitty) Blauvelt of Old Hook, she being the daughter of John R. Blauvelt and Lea Demarest - the latter married 2nd Teunis Haring. Gitty was born Jan 1, 1812. Their children were #7-501, Garret R., born Feb 25, 1831 and #7-502 Rachel Ann born ? Going back - Ralph - aka "Roeliph" was the son of #5-243 David R. Haring who was married to another Haring, a Rachel who was the dau of Garret F. Haring and Sarah Campbell. David R's father was #4-135 Roelof who was married to Elizabeth Blauvelt, dau of David Blauvelt and Maria DeClark. Roelof's father was #3-44 Cornelius who was marrid to Margrietje Rollefsen Pouwelse Cornelius' father was #2-7 Abraham, the 4th son of the immigrant ancestor, Jan Pieterse Haring.
