I am looking for info on Kate Vanewen, married to Richard Vanewen. Kate was born in Holland in 1861, married Richard in 1886. Richard was born in 1855, in Holland. Kate was married first to a Thurston, they had one child, Henry, [my grandfather] I don't know if Kate's firt husband died, or if they were divorced. Kate and Richard Vanewen had five children: Minnie, b. 1886; Florence, b/ 1888; Jennie, b. 1891; Lizzie, b. 1893; and her twin, Richard jr. I know Richard married "Helen", they had no children. If anyone has any info on these girls, I would like to hear from them. I have very little info on my father's family, would like to connect with family in the New Jersey area.
