If this was posted already I'm sorry, but I didn't see it. There is a wonderful article in the January 2007 issue of the NY Genealogical and Biographical Record (Available at both New City and Ridgewood) on The Netherlands ancestry of of the Tallman family. "Amsterdam Records of Douwe Harmensen Talma; Founder of the Talman/Tallman Family of Rockland County" by Sulvia Binch and Harry Macy, Jr. (Vol. 138:14) The article cites Douwe Harmanss and Dirckie Teunis marriage intentions and marriage and baptism of 4 children in Amsterdam - 3 of the 4 children were not previously identified. Three of them were the 2 year old, 3 year old and nursing child who emigrated with Douwe Harmensen and his wife of the De Bruyynvis (The Porpoise) sailing from Amserdam on 19 June 1658. Ree Hopper
