On 17 June 1767 Conrad & Marritye Wannamaker, yeoman, of Bergen County conveyed to Peter Wannamaker of the same place, for £225, 78 acres; mentioned corner to Christian Wannamaker. Signed by Conrad Wannamaker (his mark), Maritye Wannamaker (her mark). Witnessed by William, Isaac, Thomas Boggs, Dederick Wannamaker, Peddter Wannamaker, Lawrence L. Van Boskerk.2 On 6 May 1773 (recorded 11 April 1805, Bergen Co. U:108) dated "in the thirteenth Year of the Reign of Sovriegn Lord George the Third," John Shurte of Ramapough and his wife, Elizabeth, and Margaret Shurte, his mother, conveyed to Christian Onedemaker [Wanamaker] of Bergen County, for £150, 50 acres more or less on the W side of the Ramapough River, being part of a large tract shown on a map made by George Ryerson 6 May 1773, known as lot no. 3.
