I just looked at Pat Wardell notes and this John A. Smith son of Albert Smith could not have married Hannah Folly because he was married to Abigail VanBlarcom and she did not die until 1866. Prospect Methodist Church, by David Bartine, Abigail Van Blarcom, dau. of John Van Blarcom & Rebecca Tebow. John A. Smith was b. abt. Nov 1783; d. 7 Mar 1848, ae 64.5.-; buried Union Cem., Waldwick, NJ. Abigail Van Blarcom was b. 15 Sep 1786; d. 30 Apr 1866, ae 79.7.15; buried Union Cemetery, Waldwick, NJ In the marriage record, they were both of Franklin Township. John A. Smith probably ran a sawmill at Allendale by 1827. Their cemetery inscriptions at the Waldwick Union Cemetery were on the Lewis Van Blarcom monument. In the 1840 Federal Census, they were listed between William Shannon and Isaac I. Storms. This still leaves the mystery of Albert VanBlarcom, grandson of William Folly d before codicil of 1831. I have him as a dgt of Elizabeth Folly and a ? VanBlarcom but can not find any record of this couple.
