I have been researching my Durie line, from Jan Durie, 1695-1773, his son, Pieter Durie - 1731 - ? - and his son, Jan Durie 1754-1891. Can anyone tell me if Jan Durie (1754-1819)( married to Maria Demarest), did he serve in the Revolutionary War? He would be the right age....
