Hi Pat, Thanks for the info. Does Maryann have anything more specific about Mary Mckee? Did she die in NJ etc? How is she so certain of the exact date. MaryAnn has a lot of specific information as it was her post about the date of the baptism in The M.E. Church that uncovered that 4 of Joseph and Charity's children were baptised with them on the same date and ALSO an adult Sarah Babcock? I found a Thomas Babcock on Ancestry that purports to be the father of Joseph. It also shows an Isaac babcock as the father of Thomas. Thomas has a Revolutionary War link also. Can you forward a copy of Hiram's death certificate? I know that Brian is interested also. Any chance we can find Mary's death certificate in the same place you found Hiram's. I'm at a loss as to how to nail down Dennis' position, Son or Son-in-Law. The 1840 Census for Dennis raises the question of who is the older man who appears in his household? I thought that it might be his father-in-law but if he is Married to Joseph's Dorcas then it might be his father. Is the undertaker Blauvelt from the Blauvelts in Haverstraw and did they also migrate to Brooklyn where Hiram and Percy were both in the undertaker business? On another point, I think Hiram also made forays into Pennsylvania as his sons Matthew and Dennis list PA as their place of birth. This is fun!
