Rain or shine. Free admission. According to the event's organizers, Society trustees John and Barbara Farina of River Vale, visitors will find: linens, costume& vintage jewelry, gently used household things, original art and signed/numbered contemporary graphics, old and rare publications, art & history books, attic and basement treasures, old tools, antique bow saws, historical map reproductions, original Jimmy Margulies cartoons and hundreds of other miscellaneous items. Homemade pies, cakes, cupcakes, muffins and cookies will be sold throughout the day. Anyone spending $25.00 or more at the Curiosity Sale will be served a free cup of coffee and cake at a special outdoor courtesy table All proceeds go directly to the operating expenses of the Society, a 501 c 3 organization. Not a penny is removed for administrative expenses since the group has NEVER had a paid employee in its 66-year existence.
