Please go to the mail list for Bergen County, as I have just posted a biography there of one of the original Demarests. It is lengthy. Also, the problem is that many of the children are not listed. Some of the family are listed has having 12-15 children, with most of them not named in the biographies. This will pose an issue on determining which Samuel is which. I am not related to any of these, but am a County Coordinator for Bergen County, NJGenWeb. The bio is not posted on the web site as yet, just the mail list.
