The Committee appointed at the last meeting of the Board, to rent a house and engage a person to keep the Poor reported that they had hired a part of the House occupied by Mr Huggison at the Yearly rent of 60 Dollars from 1st May 1842 to 1st of May 1843 and also that they had engaged Mr William Conner to keep the Poor, for one Dollar per week each for adults and fifty cents per week for children under twelve years of age and he is to pay Ten Dollars toward the rent of the house.
