As I understand it my Grand Father wishing to have a more American name changed his from "Haluska" to "Halusker" at some point in time before his Marriage about 1934 or possibly when he recieved his Social Security Number. Could this be a legal document in the courts or would one at the time just change a name on thier own? This may have happened in either Garfield or Cliffside Park.
