Hello, I would like to look at a Bergen County deed from 1871. The LDS has 5 films covering 1871. v. Y7-Z7 1870-1871 v. A8-B8 1871 v. C8-D8 1871 v. E8-F8 1871 v. G8-H8 1871-1872 I don't really want to pay to rent all these films. Does anyone know how the deed books are arranged? Is it by date? By name of town? By surname? I believe the deed would have been from August 1871. Does anyone know of the existence of an index anywhere? The LDS catalogue says the index is missing. Thanks, Veronica
