Prime, was mayor of Bergenfield from 1918-1922 and after that he and various family members were deeply involved in Bergen County Democratic and Republican political circles, as well as with the Bergen Record and the Twin-Boro News, among others. My father, TJ's youngest son Stephen Prime, was at Pearl Harbor when it was attacked, which would have been reported in the area papers as well. Does anyone know if the Bergen Record is available to researchers outside the state via Interlibrary Loan? I work for a major daily newspaper in Louisiana, which possible could assist in the process, and would be willing to trade lookup "credits" and time in return for anyone willing to look for stories relating to TJ's term in office and my father in the weeks immediately after Pearl Harbor. I can also supply specific dates to look for other articles. My father's comings and goings in World War II were reported because his brother was a reporter at the paper and later its advertising director. Thanks in advance, John Andrew Prime Shreveport, LA ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to NJBERGEN-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
