Hi Liz: Thanks very much! Guess I need to take a ride down to Spring Lake! I doubt if any of the old houses remain but it would be interesting to see. Odd that the YMCA brochure came today and mentions Spring Lake. Strange coincidence, but, I'm finding that things go that way sometimes in my search for my family! Again, thank you for the information; at least I know the lake still exists and will now see if I can find out more information if John Willis lived there at one time. In it they mention they have a new "powerpack membership" which includes access to Spring Lake for the summer of 2009. I believe this is a large lake next to the YMCA but I would have to check. Here's what they mention on their website: Here's the website for the Y : http://www.wyckoffymca.org/about/about.html This is the address ---> 691 Wyckoff Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ. Here's a link to the aerial view of the place from Google Map.
