They resided in Englewood at the time of the 1920 and 1930 censuses. Prior to that, they lived in Brooklyn, having both emmigrated from England. (I believe they married in Brooklyn). Thomas - DOB 1871 Gertrude - DOB 1873 Children: Thomas Raymond, William G., Gertrude BROWN (Smith) Dow, Stanley H., and Robert Arthur (my father). Gertrude's full name was Annie Dora Gertrude COLMER. Her 5 brothers also emigrated from England in the 1890's. Two of them,Arthur Noel Paul COLMER and John Allen COLMER also moved to Englewood as cited in the 1930 censuses and their 1942 WWII Draft Registrations. I am particularly interested in finding death certificates and obitutaries for any of the above, especially Thomas BROWN and Gertrude COLMER Brown. I I also would enjoy corresponding with any Brown or Colmer second cousins, etc. Thanks.
