Hello, our daughter is doing a report on Fort Lee for her 5th grade history project. Since we live in California we are unable to go there and have her visit and take photos and notes about the way of life at the Fort during the Revolutionary War. We are hoping someone on this list has been there and can possibly share some photos of their visit to the Historical Part so that she can attach them to her display board. She has been working on this project for over a month and it's 1/2 of her History grade so she is trying to make it something special. She is also able to include photos of or information on the Lenni Lenape Native Americans that lived in the area including their customs, folklore, what they made (such as were they weavers), and she would love to find a photo of someone in their Native Dress. We can print out any photos mailed and it would be a wonderful help to her. She is working hard for a 10 year old that has to have an 8-10 page typewritten report on every aspect of Fort Lee and the surrounding area, even what type of soil and water resources are in the area. Thank you in advance for anyone that can help her make her project more meaningful. Donna Patterson cadigger@pacbell.net

I've been looking for information on a Maria Sposa in Norwood, Bergen, NJ. She would have been born abt 1879. She married Frank Lanzano, born abt. 1873 (also spelled Frank Lauzano) and they had Avelina, Thomas, Filamena, Joseph, Frank, Angiolina and Alfino (I'm still missing two of their children's names, but could be Fanny or Dominick). My father-in-law, Frank Joseph Lanzana, told me his Grandmother Maria's surname was Sposa. However, I found info on Sposata, not Sposa. Do you know what time period the name was shortened? I'm not sure, but he thought her family may have been in law enforcement. Let me know if any of this clicks with what you were looking for. Thanks to all, I will definitely go to one of the sites and print out the info so I can have it at hand. Hi, You and your cousin are first cousins because you share a pair of common grandparents. Then, your children and your cousin's children are second cousins due to a common pair of great-grandparents. The relationship between you and your cousin's children is "first cousins once removed". Removed means that a common generation is skipped. I know this is rather confusing. The Internet should have some relationship charts that you could print for handy reference. Now folks, let's all sing along.... "I'm my own grandpa"... :-) (I could never understand that song, but supposedly it's true!!!) Beverly G. To me, it looks like the information is simply a by-product of partial "credit headers", which can go back as far as twenty years. These websites will allow a user to perform a "teaser" search, before requesting a full record for a paid fee. The initial search will yield a name, approximate age, present an former addresses and possible relatives. Sometimes, that is good enough. I looked on peoplefinder.com for your Charles BUDD, and came up with the following record.
