    1. [NJBERGEN] looking for information - Tipper
    2. Patricia Greber
    3. Hi, I am new to researching in New Jersey. I have a relative John Tipper (he was a butcher) who was living in Englewood for a number of census. He married Charlotte Harrison (I don't know the date but between the 1880 & 1890 census) but they both are buried in the cemetery and their death dates are both listed as 1916. Also John's mother is buried in the cemetery she died April 12, 1881 her name was Catherine. Just wondering where the best place to start would be. Possibly the cemetery to get full dates of death. Is there a Birth, marriage, death index for New Jersey? Thanks for any help or suggestions. Patricia in Alberta

I will be looking for city directories from 1890 to 1940. Newspapers 1856 to 1925. Also depending on these successes I would look up births 1856 to 1888. Marriages 1870 - 1900 and deaths after 1930. Would the East Rutherford library be a good starting point? Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
